Welcome to the "Kimberley Mountain Duplex Ski Chalet" an easy 5 minute walk to the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort where you will find the lifts, pub & restaurants. Enjoy your vacation getaway in our newly updated full duplex home with 4 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom, 3 1/2 baths, 2 fully stocked kitchens & 2 covered decks. You will have the entire house to yourselves for your enjoyment. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the covered back decks, breath in the fresh mountain air & enjoy the peace.
You have full access to the fully renovated and updated "Kimberley Mountain Duplex Ski Chalet".
UPPER UNIT OF DUPLEX FEATURES:
Open vaulted ceilings and large windows bring in plenty of beautiful sunshine and the air conditioning keeps you in cool comfort.
The main floor features a large master bedroom with king bed, full ensuite, walk-in closet and access to the deck where you can enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. The second bedroom has a queen bed, closet and dresser. Plus, there is a second full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
Enjoy the beautiful vistas from the upper loft while reading a book on one of the double beds.
Prepare a delicious meal in the fully stocked kitchen or brew up your favorite coffee beverage on the espresso machine.
After a fun filled day on the slopes or out enjoying the mountains, put up your feet front of the fireplace in the living room and catch a movie on the 65" Smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Premium Cable) while relaxing on a soft leather recliner or sofa.
Entry area has a boot dryer and bench to put on your dry footwear plus a laundry centre.
GROUND LEVEL UNIT OF DUPLEX FEATURES:
This ground floor unit is newly renovated. The Master bedroom has a queen bed and new half bath ensuite. The other bedroom features a queen bed. The newly updated main bathroom has a tub/shower combo with new vanity and quartz countertop.
You can prepare your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen while taking in the peaceful forest setting from the large dining room windows.
Have a morning coffee or favorite beverage on the covered back deck while enjoying the forest views and wildlife.
At the end of the day you can enjoy a movie on the 55" Smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime and Premium Cable) while relaxing on the Soft Leather Sofa and Recliner.
The front entry is spacious with a place to put on your footwear and hang your jackets plus a laundry centre.
Please note: Central Air conditioning is for the Upper Level of the Duplex. The Ground Floor unit has Window A/C, fans and remains cooler due to being ground level.
There are 8 golf courses within a short drive. The famous Trickle Creek Golf Resort is only a short 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the house. Plus, there is Bootleg Gap, St. Eugene, Shadow Mountain, Purcell Golf Club, Wildstone, Cranbrook Golf Club and Fairmont Riverside to enjoy.
The home is a up/down duplex with full access to both units. This is not a party house but a quiet relaxing Mountain getaway, please be respectful of the neighbours.
There are two entrance doors to the duplex. The entrance door on the left "The Hummingbird Suite" is for the ground floor unit and the entrance door on the right "Kimberley Mountain Getaway" is to the upper unit.
Parking is available on the driveway for 3 vehicles and in addition 3 smaller vehicles can park directly behind the other vehicles. There is NO guest access to the garage.

Last house on our side of the road before the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort. Only a short 5 minute walk to the ski resort base and amenities (ticket sales, ski lift and bar/restaurants).
A short 2 minute drive to Trickle Creek Golf Resort. There are many more beautiful golf courses within a short drive.
Kimberley is a city located in the southeastern part of British Columbia, Canada. It is situated in the Rocky Mountain Trench. The small city is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, including the Purcell Mountains to the east and the Rocky Mountains to the west.
Historically, Kimberley's economy revolved around mining. The Sullivan Mine, which operated for almost a century, was one of the largest lead-zinc mines in the world. The mine's closure in 2001 marked the end of an era for Kimberley. However, the city has successfully transitioned to a thriving tourism and outdoor recreation destination.
One of Kimberley's main attractions is Kimberley Alpine Resort, a popular ski and snowboard destination. The resort offers excellent terrain, including groomed slopes, glades, and challenging steeps. In the summer, the area transforms into a mountain biking haven, with numerous trails catering to all skill levels. The city of Kimberley has a charming downtown area known as the Platzl. This pedestrian-only zone features boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, and art galleries. The Platzl is also home to the iconic Kimberley Clock Tower, a landmark that serves as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
Kimberley has a vibrant arts and culture scene. The city hosts several festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Kimberley Kaleidoscope Arts Festival and the Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Championships. The area's rich history is celebrated at the Kimberley Underground Mining Railway, where visitors can take a tour and experience what it was like to work in the Sullivan Mine.
Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in and around Kimberley. The nearby St. Mary River and the Kimberley Nature Park offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife spotting. The Nature Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Canada, covering over 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of diverse terrain.

The Peak to Platzl Downtown Shuttle is a free transportation service (in the winter) between the Kimberley Alpine Resort base area, on-mountain accommodations and the downtown shops, pubs and restaurants.
Call Mountain Shuttle and Cab and they will take you anywhere you want to go.
