We had a really enjoyable stay in the apartment. It’s in a great location, about a 10-minute walk to the ski hill or a very short drive to the parking lot with all your gear. A perfect base for a few days on Mount Fernie. We did have an issue accessing the ski locker, it’s shared with the adjoining apartment and the other guests had filled it first. Elisabeth responded quickly and tried to help, but we ended up storing our equipment against the wall in the locker area. As it was advertised as a shared locker we were a little surprised to not be able to access it. There’s a fridge/freezer and microwave in the apartment so we expected some basic utensils and crockery but had to source. Adding these and possibly a kettle to make coffee in the morning would really improve the stay. We had a fantastic time, the hot tub and sauna area was a highlight after long days on the mountain and the location was great for the price. Loads of storage & local Fernie bath products was great to see ❤️

As others have stated, the place is basically a well-worn hotel room and almost all communication is via an external website that times out and requires you to constantly login. Here are some other things you should be aware of. * Skis must be stored in a ski locker which requires your own lock or an extra charge * There are three flights of stairs to get to the room; one full flight and two quarter flights * The path to the resort is icy and hilly

The entire place was perfect for what we needed! Nice large bed beautiful view of the mountains nearby and only a 5 minute drive from the rest of Fernie! The hot tub was amazing would’ve liked to spend more time in there! We drove from SK so bout a 8-9 hour drive and the only thing that kinda sucked was the tv didn’t work. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice for that first evening when we got there. It was listed that if we had issues with the tv or wifi to call Telus and Telus tried to help but there was a issue with the boxes power supply so I’d say that was on Telus and not Elisabeth. Overall the place was awesome and will 100% go again in the future!

It was a little smaller than I had thought but that’s likely me not really paying attention when reading the descriptions. Walls seemed a bit thin as we heard plenty of noise in the hallway at times. Great spot to use as a base to do some hiking and biking in the area. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
