Enjoy your time in Kimberley at our cozy guest suite! Located right on the hill, only 100m from the main lift, you can ski right to your door. Access to the vast array of golf courses, mountain biking and nordic trails is only minutes away. We have curated our space for solo travellers, a couples retreat or a young, small family getaway. We look forward to sharing this beautiful part of BC with you!

Our guest suite is a lock off unit located below our main property. It has its own private entrance onto a quite private road. In the winter skiers can reach the front door via an ancillary trail just off the main run. The atmosphere in the summer is very tranquil and you are only minutes away from the golf course and Kimberley’s expansive trail network.

From the front door you enter the main space that has space for boots and coats, a coffee table, TV (Disney+ & Netflix), and a pull out couch.

Tucked away just off the living space is the kitchenette. It includes a mini fridge (with small freezer compartment), Keurig (tea/coffee/sugar included), kettle, microwave, toaster, cutting board, kitchen knives, can opener, cork screw, tea towels/dish cloths/dish soap, 2 mugs, 2 cups, 2 wine glasses, and plates/bowls/silverware for up to 4 people.

Refresh after a day of adventure in the newly renovated bathroom, fully stocked with soaps from our local refillery, and reset in the private bedroom on the very comfy Douglas mattress.

Although the space is small we’ve used a minimalistic approach to include all necessary amenities to make your stay memorable.

The suite has a private entrance and guests have access to everything seen in the listing. There is a dead bolted and noise insulated lock off door in the suite that leads to our upstairs.

We prefer to give guests privacy during their stay, however guests can reach us at anytime. We live in Kimberley and we are available if the need arises. We encourage guests to message us through the app for any questions and to call us for anything urgent.

Our place is located on the ski hill. It is within city limits and part of a strata complex.

We are in a very safe, and quiet area of Kimberley with frequent wildlife sightings. From our place it is a 30-45min walk to the Platzl (town hub), a 20min drive to the airport and 30min drive to a larger city centre (Cranbrook). There are two restaurants nearby at the main ski village with many more restaurants, bars and shops in the town centre. The nearest hospital is in Cranbrook but all other amenities are available in Kimberley.

Kimberley is a small town and is very easy to navigate. If you are driving it does not take long to get anywhere. If walking or biking there is an extensive and well maintained trail system in place - use Trailforks or AllTrails apps for up to date information.

If you need a ride there are three options (see official City of Kimberley website -> Community -> Transportation for details):

1. Mountain Shuttle & Cab

2. Simply Kimberley -> Offers golf course shuttles

3. BC Transit Route 23 Peak to Platzl -> Free during the winter with a stop 2-3 minutes from our place. The route and schedule is available on the BC Transit app and website.

Our place does not have a dedicated parking “spot” however there is a public road close by to park your vehicle. Sometimes the parking location changes depending on the season and the amount of snow we get. We ask that guests are aware of this and that a short (<50m) walk may be required to reach the suite.

Very well organized, clean and cozy unit, with ski in and ski out ability, right on the hill. Small space for kitchenette but well equipped. Very accommodating and responsive host.

We had a very comfortable short stay! A very convenient location for skiing and not far from town. Neighboring apartments seemed empty, so was nice and quiet.

Awesome place! Don’t look anywhere else, you won’t be disappointed at all. We loved our stay, and even thought the snow was very poor and was very warm it was still ski in/ski out. Congratulations Steven and Jaimie for doing a great job 👏🏽🫶🏽

Great lil place within short walk to main lift. The place is cozy and just as advertised. Nice spacious bathroom. Host was generous to provide flexible check in and check out times.

Great little place with good access to the slopes. Would stay there again when there. Parking is a bit of an inconvenience, but no surprises as it was described accurately with good instructions.
