Enjoy your time in Kimberley at our chalet style condo! Located right on the ski hill, only 100m from the main lift, you can ski right to your door. Access to the vast array of golf courses, mountain biking and nordic trails is only minutes away. Relax after a day of adventure in our private sauna. Our place is fully serviced and equipped for a stress free vacation. Our home comfortably welcomes eight people for memorable gatherings. Our place is a split level town house with a private entrance. Located within the Kimberley Alpine Resort neighbourhood, the atmosphere is very peaceful. In the winter skiers can almost reach the front door via an ancillary trail just off the main run. In the summer, nature seranades and you are only minutes away from the golf course and Kimberley’s expansive trail network. Outside our place there is a shared carport with the neighbouring unit that allows covered parking for one vehicle and room for one or two more midsize vehicles in the driveway.

Off the main entry is a large gear room so you can bring your bikes/skis/snowboards/golf bags/etc. inside.

The kitchen has everything you would need in a home. In stocking the kitchen we thought of what we would want in our own personal vacation home and chose quality appliances and utensils. We also provide guests with some basic necessities (salt, pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil, saran wrap, sandwich bags, freezer bags, paper towel, dishwasher pods and garbage bags).

The kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine that can be used to make a pot or cups of coffee. There are reusable filters and K-cups provided. We also supply tea, coffee and sugar purchased from our local refillery.

The well lit dining room has a large eight person table perfect for fine meals with friends and family and a great place to play board games.

Our cozy living room has comfortable seating for four and a wood burning fireplace. There are two large windows and a small princess balcony for watching the sun rise over the rocky mountains. For those cozy nights in we have a 65" TV with streaming services (Netflix and Disney +) and several board games.

Upstairs is the bathroom and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a very comfy Douglas queen mattress and clothing storage. The bathroom is newly renovated and fully stocked with soaps from our local refillery.

Downstairs is your own private dry sauna with a stall shower. A perfect way to start the morning or recoup after a day of adventure. There is also a washer and dryer in the downstairs laundry room that we have stocked with eco-max detergent and dryer sheets. From here you also have access to another “suite” within the home which includes a separate entrance, the third bedroom, a full bathroom and a small living space with TV.

We feel our place acts as an excellent base to explore the beautiful East Kootenays. We’ve used a minimalistic approach to include all necessary amenities to make your stay memorable.

Guests have private access to the entire condo and everything seen in the listing, including the laundry room and the dry sauna. The outdoor space and carport is shared with our neighbours. Guests are permitted to use our half of the carport.

We prefer to give guests privacy during their stay, however guests can reach us at anytime. We live in Kimberley and we are available if the need arises. We encourage guests to message us through the app for any questions and to call us for anything urgent.

Our place is located on the ski hill. It is within city limits and part of a strata complex. We are in a very safe, and quiet area of Kimberley with frequent wildlife sightings. From our place it is a 30-45min walk to the Platzl (town hub), a 20min drive to the airport and 30min drive to a larger city centre (Cranbrook). There are two restaurants nearby at the main ski village with many more restaurants, bars and shops in the town centre. The nearest hospital is in Cranbrook but all other amenities are available in Kimberley.

Kimberley is a small town and is very easy to navigate. If you are driving it does not take long to get anywhere. If walking or biking there is an extensive and well maintained trail system in place - use Trailforks or AllTrails apps for up to date information.
