Welcome to The Hummingbird Suite, your cozy, stylish & peaceful mountain escape in beautiful Kimberley, BC. Perfectly situated just a short walk to Kimberley Alpine Resort & minutes from golf courses, scenic trails, lakes, rivers & the charming downtown Platzl, this comfortable 2-bedroom suite is the ideal year-round getaway.

🐾 Pet Policy — Please Read House Rules

Pet-friendly for quiet, well-behaved dogs. This is a duplex, so pets must be suitable for a shared-building environment — please read the House Rules before booking.

Pets must meet the following:

-Either up to two (2) small dogs (each up to 25 lbs / 11 kg) or one (1) medium dog (26–50 lbs / 12–23 kg) is permitted. Unfortunately, cats are not allowed due to owner allergies.

Located on the ground floor of a quiet up/down duplex, this newly updated suite features:

• A spacious entryway with in-suite laundry for your convenience and gear-drying space. Allergy-Friendly Laundry Notice: Please do not use Scented Laundry Detergents, Dryer Sheets or Fabric Softener (liquid or sheets) in the washer or dryer. Unscented detergent is provided for your convenience.

• Bright, open-concept living area with forest views and large picture windows

• A covered back deck with seating, BBQ and dining space—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks

• A fully equipped kitchen with salt, pepper, cooking oil, vinegar, sugar, tea, spices and coffee beans. Enjoy the espresso machine and coffee grinder for a freshly brewed cup each morning

• A 55" Smart TV (Netflix, Prime Video & Premium Cable), soft leather sofa, recliner, and glider rocker for cozy nights in

Last house on our side of the road before the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort. Only a short 5 minute walk to the ski resort base and amenities (ticket sales, ski lift and bar/restaurants).

A short 2 minute drive to Trickle Creek Golf Resort. There are many more beautiful golf courses within a short drive.

Kimberley is a city located in the southeastern part of British Columbia, Canada. It is situated in the Rocky Mountain Trench. The small city is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, including the Purcell Mountains to the east and the Rocky Mountains to the west.

Historically, Kimberley's economy revolved around mining. The Sullivan Mine, which operated for almost a century, was one of the largest lead-zinc mines in the world. The mine's closure in 2001 marked the end of an era for Kimberley. However, the city has successfully transitioned to a thriving tourism and outdoor recreation destination.

The Peak to Platzl Downtown Shuttle is a convenient free transportation service (in the winter) between the Kimberley Alpine Resort base area, on-mountain accommodations and the downtown shops, pubs and restaurants.

For our Airbnb guests, we offer an optional Guest Damage Protection policy (aka Damage Waiver) that covers accidental damages up to CA$1000. This policy is designed to protect you from being charged for unforeseen incidents that might occur during your stay. Opting into this coverage allows you to enjoy your time without worrying about minor mishaps.

- If any covered damage occurs during your stay, simply report it to us.

- We’ll take care of the rest, ensuring you are not charged for the repair or replacement up to the coverage limit.

- If you prefer not to purchase the policy, simply decline the waiver during the verification process.
