One of Kimberley's main attractions is Kimberley Alpine Resort, a popular ski and snowboard destination. The resort offers excellent terrain, including groomed slopes, glades, and challenging steeps. Kimberley has a vibrant arts and culture scene. The city hosts several festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Kimberley Kaleidoscope Arts Festival and the Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Championships. The area's rich history is celebrated at the Kimberley Underground Mining Railway, where visitors can take a tour and experience what it was like to work in the Sullivan Mine.

Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in and around Kimberley. The nearby St. Mary River and the Kimberley Nature Park offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife spotting. The Nature Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Canada, covering over 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of diverse terrain.

Getting the keys out of the lock box was not intuitive. Building was quiet, parking was easy and felt safe. Building is a bit older, furnishings older. Kitchen well equipped. Price was good. One sink in one bathroom was not working. We were notified, hoped a plumber would come to fix on first day, but we managed without the sink. Water in shower was very hot, be careful. Very easy to access ski in and out. We were wondering if there was a thermostat for our unit. Couldn’t find it… but temperature was mostly comfortable so didn’t inquire. The front closet in entrance was great for keeping our ski and outdoor clothing and gear organized. Thanks for having us Stephanie !
