The cabin was a wonderful place to get away for a long weekend in the mountains. Peaceful energy, cozy nest to curl up with a book and glass of wine for some R&R, beautiful area for hiking. Very private, but I agree with other reviews that window coverings would be nice (e.g. bedroom when sleeping in). The rustic log cabin in the woods is not impervious to house flies, but Shawna provided ammunition for those. I would recommend the cabin to other guests.

Our stay in this cabin tucked away in the bush with a beautiful mountain view, and it was exactly what I needed. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature — the perfect place to unwind and recharge, no need for window coverings! The cabin had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the essentials to a few thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Waking up to the view and the sounds of the forest was just amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway.
