We stayed 6 weeks and loved the location. Property was very clean and comfortable. We did feel the set up was better suited to weekenders and short term stays. For such renters the property is ideal. For us the kitchen was not equipped as well it could be for long term stays and those who cook every night and the property instructions did not cover the appliances, heating and ventilation instructions or recycling/garbage collection. As non Canadian residents this would have been helpful. We did after a few days meet the owner (not the host) and he very kindly helped with the things we needed.

We were the first guests at this place, and it is a brand new apartment, so paint smell was evident. A few hours of running the air purifier definitely helped. Aesthetically the place was impersonal. A modern, built-in revenue unit without the sort of character you'd find in a traditional home AirBnB listing. Empty cupboards: no blankets or extra pillows, decor, etc. Keurig coffee maker, so bring your own coffee making if that is an issue. All brand-new though, so modern and convenient functionality (new oven, laundry, great shower head, etc.) Most off-putting was the host's automated message requesting that we leave a 5 star review, and contact him with any issues privately, rather than leaving a review. Review-gaming is tacky and runs counter to what peer-to-peer hospitality has to offer.
