If you love the cabin vibes, then our home in Invermere could be perfect for you. Downtown is a short five minute drive away, and you are very close to the Mt Nelson Skate Park, tennis courts, soccer fields, and playground. Furthermore, you are also a five minute drive from Lake Windermere, and twenty minutes from Panorama. Our rustic cabin, set back from the Main Street, is cozy and a little quirky in places, plus there are lots of beds: perfect for large families. There is also a large yard.
The main entrance to the house is on the left, near the garage. You walk into a cute little foyer where you can store a few personal items. As you walk into the home you enter through a utility room where there is a sink, counter tops, washer and dryer, and a bathroom with shower. From the utility area you can access the main living space.
LIVING SPACE & KITCHEN
The entire ground floor is open plan. It's the perfect family space. There's a large wooden dinning table with long bench and chairs, ideal for large families. There is also a comfy lounge area around a wood burner. In the corner is a nice size kitchen. There are all the large and small appliances you would expect in a family home, plus you will also find salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans for your personal use.
* Note for the Fireplace - Please use fire logs which are available at many stores in the valley, including Canadian Tire and Home Hardware on your way in.

BEDROOMS
Since our stairs are open (see photos) please ensure young children are careful going up and down. As you walk up the stairs you will see a futon and queen/twin bunk to your right. The futon is for sitting and not listed as a bed. If you wish to use it please bring your own bedding.
To your left you will find the master bedroom which has a floor level king bed featuring a Haven Lux Hybrid mattress , and a toddler/twin bed combo. All the beds, for your comfort, are dressed with hotel quality linens.
BATHROOMS
As previously mentioned there is a shower room in the utility area of the house. Additionally, upstairs there is a full bathroom with vaulted ceiling. The traditional claw feet bath tub makes for the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Both bathrooms will have a stock of fluffy white towels and locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo.
OUTSIDE
Our home has a large yard. There is a fire pit (wood not supplied - please reach out for contact) table and chairs, and plenty of parking for your vehicles and trailer.
You will have full access to our home during your stay.
