SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING CEILING DISCOLOURATION:
The unit above ours experienced a leak a few weeks ago, resulting in some discolouration on our ceiling. We are actively working with our insurance provider, a local restoration company, and the strata to address the issue. The ceiling will eventually need to be removed and replaced.
Rest assured, the entire unit, including walls and ceiling, has been thoroughly tested by insurance and engineering professionals for mold or any other safety concerns. The results confirm that the space is completely safe; the discolouration is purely cosmetic.
Due to the time of year and contractor availability, the repairs are unlikely to be completed before spring. Please note that this issue does not impact your stay in any way.
THE PATIO
There's a BBQ with propane tank, sofa, and extra lawn chairs all for your use. With mountains as the backdrop to your view, this is an ideal space to enjoy at any time of the day, and is useable all year round.
Please note, there is a rather friendly (and famous) orange cat with red collar who lives upstairs and likes to visit - please don't let him into the condo!
OPEN PLAN DESIGN
The open plan design, modern decor, and choice of furnishings give this cozy one bedroom condo a light and airy feel. You enter into the lounge area where you will find a comfortable sectional sofa, chair, smart TV, and fireplace (please purchase the fire logs from Canadian Tire or the general store across the street). Adjacent to the lounge area is a nice wooden dining table that seats four.
THE KITCHEN
The beautifully redesigned and renovated kitchen is a dream to cook in. You will find all the essentials you need to whip up a light bite or hearty meal. There are all the large and small appliances that you expect in a family kitchen. We also provide you salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee.
QUEEN BEDROOM
Just off the entrance area is the queen bedroom. There is a closet and a set of drawers for your personal items. For your comfort, the bed is dressed in hotel quality linens.
BATHROOM
This beautifully decorated bathroom has a large walk in shower. The decor is freshly modern and relaxing.
MURPHY BED FOR EXTRA GUESTS
On the dining area wall there is a large closet containing a queen murphy bed. You will just need to move the dining table towards the lounge area before trying to set up. The mattress is thick and comfortable. The linens can be found in the nearby double closet.
POOL AND LAUNDRY ACCESS
The pool keys are either in a little dish on the sideboard, or hanging up behind the door. Please return prior to your departure.
There are coin operated laundry facilities available in the parkade: $2 per load.
PARKING AND ACCESS
The Horsethief complex has underground parking. If you park near the red pillar that is marked 323-314 you will be in close proximity to the exit door nearest the property. When you exit via this door and turn left, the property will be the first on your left.
