Fernie Alpine Resort has so much offer throughout all the seasons. So, if you love the mountains, and the great outdoors this is the perfect place for your next getaway. This large family home, in a quiet residential area of Fernie, offers fabulous views, large rooms, air con, bike storage for up to 12 bikes, and comfortable furnishings. With the wood feature walls and tasteful decor throughout you will feel right at home here.
OUTSIDE
Please note there is a very steep and short driveway off the cul-de-sac. During the winter months if you cannot get up the drive you can park in the cul-de-sac. You can park in front of the building, and there is room for up to four cars.
AIRCON
New for summer 2023 there is central air conditioning throughout the home. Each room has a thermostat where you can control the temperature.
COMING JUNE 2023 - You will also find bike storage that can accommodate up to 12 bikes.
ENTRANCE
There is an igloo lock on the front door that leads to the large entrance. This area is shared with the owner. You can put skis and boards into the garage during your stay: just used the left-hand door in the entrance area. To access the unit, go up the stairs.
MAIN FLOOR
You enter the unit into a light-filled, high-ceiling, open-plan living space. Most of the walls have wood paneling for those cabin vibes. There are large windows with amazing views, so make sure you curl up on the sofa and take it all in! There is a comfortable lounge area where you will find a remote-controlled gas fireplace, and a large TV with Netflix. The large dining table seats ten guests, plus there is additional bar seating at the kitchen counter. The extra chairs can be found in the master bedroom closet. The kitchen is a chef's delight. With all the large and small appliances you would expect from a family home, you will enjoy whipping up a light snack or hearty meal during your stay. There is a supply of salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans for your use during your stay. There is also a bar fridge for all those drinks.
On the main floor, you will also find a half bathroom with in-suite laundry facilities. Feel free to use these during your stay.
There is also access to the private hot tub from the main floor - you will find pool towels near the door.
There is one bedroom on the main floor. It has a king bed, walk-in closet, TV with cable TV and Netflix, and a large ensuite with freestanding tub and glass shower. There is a supply of hotel-quality towels and locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo.
TOP FLOOR
There is a set of stairs to the top-floor gallery landing. From here you can access three more bedrooms and a large bathroom.
There is a bedroom with a queen bed, large closet, desk, TV with Netflix and standard cable, and shower ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third has two twin bunk beds. For your comfort, all the beds are dressed in hotel-quality linens.
The large bathroom has a tub with a shower over and is also supplied with enough towels for all guests.

We and our dog live on the main floor. The entrance area and the storage in the garage are shared spaces, as well as the driveway.

There is a shared entrance way with the owner. Guests have access to the garage where they can store skis and boards during their stay. Please note the owner lives onsite and has a large but very friendly dog Max.
Please be advised that our maintenance technician performs regular upkeep on the hot tubs throughout the week. During these times, he may stop by unannounced to carry out necessary checks and maintenance.
For our Airbnb guests, we offer an optional Guest Damage Protection policy (aka Damage Waiver) that covers accidental damages up to CA$1000. This policy is designed to protect you from being charged for unforeseen incidents that might occur during your stay. Opting into this coverage allows you to enjoy your time without worrying about minor mishaps.
