Our beautiful home is located just off Highway 3 in a family-friendly area of Fernie. We're close to the Elk River and conveniently located near the large supermarket. There are four bedrooms, a large open-plan living space, and an extra living space with laundry downstairs, and a nice kitchen area for preparing simple meals and snacks. This is the perfect place to rest while enjoying all that Fernie has to offer.
This is a bright and welcoming space ready to welcome you and your fellow travelers to Fernie. From the street, there are steps or a ramp up to the entrance.
ENTRANCE
When you enter the property the main living space is ahead of you, with a half bathroom to your left along with a coat and shoe area. You will also find the steps down to the basement.
BASEMENT
In this large space, you will find a small sofa, table, storage space, a log burner, and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Feel free to store your bikes, skis, or boards in the basement while you stay with us. Please take care not to damage the walls or flooring.
MAIN LIVING SPACE AND KITCHEN
The bright and inviting living space has a large Roku TV, comfortable sofa, 6-seater dining table, and kitchen area. Please note, the kitchen has a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and kettle only. It is the perfect place to whip up simple snacks and light meals.
BEDROOMS
There are four bedrooms. For your comfort, all the beds are dressed in hotel-quality linens. One room has a queen bed, a dedicated workspace, a dresser, and hooks for some hanging space. There is another queen bedroom with a comfortable bed and a dresser. Another room has a king bed, dresser, and hanging rail. Finally, the master bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, door to the outside (please keep locked), and a dresser.
BATHROOM
The beautiful bathroom has a tub-shower combo and double vanity. There is also a supply of hotel-quality towels and locally-made body wash/shampoo for you to use during your stay with us.
You'll have full access to the accommodations as described in this listing. Please note that we reside in the attached new-built portion of the property, along with our cat and dog.
Additionally, a chiropractic practice operates in adjacent area of the property. The connecting door between will be locked at all times. We kindly request that guests keep the street parking spaces by the front door clear for patient parking. Plenty of street parking is available on the side street.
