Akiskinook Resort is situated on the shores of Lake Windermere, offering scenic views and access to recreational activities. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat or outdoor adventure in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, then this is the place for you. With year-round heated, indoor pool, two bedrooms, five beds, two patios, an electric BBQ, outdoor seating, brand new appliances, multiple TVS, in-suite laundry and a fireplace we know you will have a lovely time at our place.
KITCHEN
You will find the lovely kitchen area to your right as you walk in. There are brand new appliances and a practical layout. You will find all the equipment you need to whip up a light snack or hearty meal. There is a supply of salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee for you to use during your stay.
At the kitchen counter there is seating for four. Please note, the tall wicker stools are quite high and are not suited for young children (there is no dining table).
LOUNGE
Gather everyone together and sit together to talk about your day, or cuddle up with your loved ones and watch your favourite film. With a sectional and two additional arm chairs, there is space for everyone. You will also find a large TV on the wall and a corner fireplace - please bring your own fire logs. These can be purchased from the local stores.
PATIO
The patio is a lovely private area, with seating and a brand new electric BBQ. Please note, during winter months snow is not removed from the patio.
BEDROOMS
A wonderful children's room with queen bunk beds, twin bed, extra floor mattress bed in the loft area, and a wall mounted TV.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, high vaulted ceiling, wall mounted TV, and patio doors leading to a private patio with lake views through the trees.
There is also a queen bedroom on the first floor near the laundry closet.
BATHROOM
There are two, standard 3 piece bathrooms with tub-shower combo is a nice place to relax after a busy day. There are hotel quality towels, locally made SoCo Soaps body wash/shampoo, and a hairdryer in the bathroom.

You will find a window AC unit above the stairs..
You will have private access to the entire unit during your stay. Please note there is one locked closet that you will not be able to access.
